    Which countries and payment methods are supported for QR Pay?

    Currently available only in selected regions of Vietnam and the Philippines. 

    Payments via local QR systems such as VietQR and QR PH

    Union Pay

    Supported in most countries worldwide, including across Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Oceania.

    Payments via QR codes that support UnionPay.




    Why do I need to activate QR Pay again when making a payment with UnionPay, even though I have activated it before?

    According to Union Pay’s compliance requirements, QR Pay activation is required under the following conditions:

    • You have not completed the Identity Verification (both Standard and Advanced), or

    • You have completed Identity Verification, but used identity documents that do not meet UnionPay's requirements.

     

    Please follow the instructions to complete the activation process and ensure you meet the verification requirements so that you can start using QR Pay. 

     




    What documents are needed for QR Pay activation?

    The email and phone number you provided do not necessarily match the ones you linked to your Bybit account. 




    How long does it take to complete the activation process?

    The activation process typically takes a few minutes, provided all submitted information is complete and meets the requirements. However, in some cases, verification may take up to 7 working days

     

    Please monitor your email or in-app notifications in case additional information is needed to complete the activation. If prompted, you can check the relevant cases and status through the Support Hub.




    What should I do if the activation failed?

    The reason for the activation failure will be shown on the activation status page. You can submit a case here to contact customer support for assistance. 




    Is there a fee for making transactions through QR Pay?

    Bybit Pay does not charge any transaction fee for QR Pay transactions. However, foreign exchange fees may apply depending on the payment methods and currency used during the transaction. 

     

    Foreign exchange rates include both the exchange rate and any conversion costs between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies.

    Vietnamese Dong (VND): Up to 0.5% fluctuation

    Philippine Peso (PHP): Up to 0.8% fluctuation




    Is there any transaction limit for QR Pay?

     

    Transaction limit

    AEON Pay

    • Minimum: 0.65 USD per transaction.

      • If a transaction amount is ≤ 0.65 USD, a minimum default amount of 0.65 USD will be charged.

    • Maximum: 900 USD per transaction and 15,000 USD per day.

    Union Pay

    • Minimum: No minimum transaction limit.

    • Maximum: 700 USD per transaction.




    How long does it take to complete a QR Pay transaction?

    Most transactions are typically completed within a few seconds. 




    What are the potential error messages I might encounter when using QR Pay, and how can I resolve them?

     

    Scenario

    Potential Reason and Solution

    The QR Code is invalid

    • There is no amount embedded in the QR Code.

    • The QR Code has been paid.

    • The QR Code has expired.

    • The QR Code cannot be identified by our bank partners.

      • If it's not identified, the payment will have issue too.

    Network Error

    • Please check your internet connection and try again.

    • If the issue persists, consider switching networks (e.g., from mobile data to Wi-Fi) and retry the action.

    Pay by QR Error

    • The transaction was unsuccessful possibly because the transaction limit has been reached. Please try again.

    Transaction Timeout

    • The transaction took too long to process and timed out.

    • Please try again and ensure you have a stable internet connection and avoid refreshing or navigating away during the transaction.

    Risk Control Hit

    • Due to the risk control hit, we cannot process your transaction right now for security purposes. Please retry again.

    Insufficient Fund

    • The funds in the Funding Account are insufficient.

    • You can directly top-up your crypto/BRL, or transfer the fund from UTA to Funding Account on this page. After you transfer the fund, click “Try Again” to scan the QR Code again.

    Other Failed Reasons

    • Please try again and ensure the following:

      • Your account has sufficient balance.

      • The QR code is valid and supported.

    • Another possible reason could be a security measure on your account, which can temporarily restrict withdrawals. For example, this can be triggered by changes to your security settings, such as a password reset. Please try again after 24 hours. 

    • If the issue persists, please contact Bybit Customer Support for further assistance.
