How to Pay with QR 3.0 using Bybit Pay

 

 

 

Bybit Pay’s QR Pay feature allows users to complete transactions by simply scanning a QR code with their device. It offers a fast, secure, and convenient way to transfer funds or make purchases using cryptocurrencies supported by Bybit Pay, enhancing the overall payment experience.

 

This article serves as a guide for making payments with QR 3.0 using Bybit Pay on the app, along with additional details about the feature. 

How to Scan a Merchant’s QR Code

Step 1: From the Bybit homepage, tap on the Scanner icon to open the QR scanner.

 

 

Alternatively, you can also click More → Bybit Pay. Then, tap on QR Pay to open the QR scanner to scan the payment QR code. 

 

Notes:

• Identity Verification is required to use Bybit Pay’s QR Pay. Please ensure you complete the Identity Verification by following the guide.
• Some QR Payment requires activation for first-time use due to compliance requirements. For more information, please refer to the FAQ — QR Pay and Bank Transfer.

Step 2: You will be redirected to enter the payment amount or to the payment details page after scanning the QR code. You can choose to:

— Pay with Fiat or Crypto

— Pay with only the Funding account, or with the Combined accounts. 

 

The Combined button allows you to send combination payments using the other available funds in your Funding account first, followed by available funds on your Earn account. 

 

Notes:

• Combination payment only supports payment in USDT.
• If the Combined button is enabled and your Funding account has insufficient USDT, funds from your Earn account will be used based on your set payment priority.
• You can click More Details to view the quoted price of the other usable crypto assets.

Step 3: Carefully review the details by clicking “Details” before confirming the payment. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Complete the verification and click on Confirm.

 

Step 5: Your payment is successfully made!

 

To view your payment history, you may head to the Bybit Pay page and click on the Paper icon in the top right corner.
